Koren Helbig is a storyteller, communications consultant and digital marketer based in Adelaide. She currently handles marketing nationally for Milkwood and consults for several other ace businesses, largely focusing on those in permaculture, sustainability and local food.
During a career spanning more than 15 years, Koren has written for more than 30 publications internationally. For several years she served as Contributing Editor for Peppermint magazine and Contributing Writer for frankie magazine.
She has also worked with non-profits and businesses large and small, including World Vision and RSPCA South Australia.
After completing her Permaculture Design Certificate with The Food Forest in Gawler in 2017, Koren began to focus more heavily on local food. She is now keeper of The Local Yum, an tiny urban honesty stall on Adelaide’s northside.
